About
I started photographing the places I hiked because I kept forgetting what they looked like. Ten years later I still walk a long way for the right light, and I still carry a film camera for the ones that matter most.
Most of my work happens before sunrise and after sunset, in all weather, within a day's drive of home. The rest happens at a print table, getting colour right on paper.
How I work
Natural light only. No composites, no replaced skies.
Leave no trace: I stay on trails and keep locations of fragile places private.
Every print is proofed by hand before it ships.
